A one off chance to experience all that is unique and enchanting at Broadspear. A day with Clodagh where she will share with you why Broadspear is a thriving yet magical place. You will absorb the beauty and tranquility of the woods, tour the walled garden abundant with produce, meet all the animals, and visit the lake. You will have breakfast at The Cork Arms, Clodagh’s pub in the woods, and have lunch under the Wisteria clad pergola in the Walled Garden.
Clodagh will be giving talks on gardening, planting and developing a walled garden, bee keeping and how she established and manages a small holding sustainable farm. And finishing the day off with a summer cookery demonstration in the walled garden. A chance to learn about how we take things from garden to table.
What to Expect
A very special breakfast at the pub with all our home produce - eggs from the chickens, pork from our woodland pigs and produce from our walled garden.
A guided walk through the garden to visit the vegetable and fruit walled garden, the beehives, the cutting garden and the animals.
Talks from Clodagh on: Establishing a small holding sustainable farm. Planting and maintaining a walled vegetable garden. Keeping hens, pigs and cattle. And her pickling shed!
