Opening The New Imaging Department At The Runnymede Hospital
I was honored to be asked to officially open the new Imaging Department at Runnymede Hospital last night, which had seen considerable growth over the last 12 months.
The hospital has introduced numerous new services aimed at benefiting the local community by providing faster pathways to diagnosis and treatment. This support for patient well-being was evident in the shorter waiting times, which eased what could be a very stressful and difficult period.
The department has introduced a range of new equipment, including a state-of-the-art CT scanner capable of conducting cardiac scans and CT Colonoscopies. Complementing the cardiac services was a new exercise stress test machine designed to aid in the early diagnosis of heart conditions.
Additionally, the hospital has expanded its MRI services to further enhance diagnostic capabilities.
On behalf of everyone who was present, I expressed my gratitude for this incredible new ward, knowing it would change the lives of so many in our community.
