The first seed sowing of the year for the vegetable garden!

Farm Diaries is back after a little hibernation over the winter. Mid-February is a great time to get ahead in the garden and start sowing seeds in your seed trays.

These can live in your glasshouse if you have one, or happily sit on bright windowsills indoors until the weather warms up. It’s always lovely to be planning and thinking ahead about growing at this time of year – a quiet, hopeful way to look forward to spring and all the colour and life it brings.
