Step Two - Placing the flowers

Put the ball of chicken wire into the bowl and secure with pot tape, fill the bowl with water,  start placing the flowers into the chicken wire at different angles for a more foraged organic look; it's best not to place the flowers directly upright, but at more of an angle.  Fill the bowl with flowers until you cannot see the chicken wire and you are happy with how the flowers look.  Place the shorter stem flowers first, and then keep the longer ones till the end.

Step Three - Prepare the basket

If you want to weave branches around the basket then cut your bendable branches so that they can wedge into the basket by pushing the bottom and top parts of the branch into the gaps of the basket so they feel secure.   Start by inserting the bottom part of the branch first into the basket and then swoop the rest of the branch and secure the top of the branch securely so it stays in place.  Layer the branches around the basket evenly.

Step four - Finishing touches

Place your bowl inside your basket. If the bowl feels wobbly just stuff some newspaper around the base in between the bowl and the basket.  Then gently place your eggs around the base of the flowers  and scatter around the basket base on your table.  Happy Easter!
