Parmaham Stuffed Dates Canope

Makes 16

INGREDIENTS:

16 fresh dates

100g blue cheese

2 tsp honey

8 slices Parma Ham, sliced in half vertically

METHOD:

1. Using a sharp knife cut a slit lengthways in each fresh date and remove and the stone.

2. Place the blue cheese in a small mixing bowl and using a spoon stir in 2 teaspoons of runny honey and mix well. Spoon 1 teaspoon of the blue cheese honey mixture into each date and press to enclose the filling.

3. Wrap a piece of Parma Ham around each date and serve on platters.
